Social media is emerging as a competent and steadfast media in the modern society. Keeping in mind that in next five years or so, social media will become an influential and powerful medium which may control our notions and even may change the social order, we are launching the organization “Content Creators of Kerala” (CCOK). CCOK was created as a WhatsApp league of Malayalee YouTubers who are residing in different parts of the world.
Some of the more enterprising members of this group were earnestly making and broadcasting videos through YouTube as a primary source of income. They also used the videos and the income generated for charity and voluntary activities. This innovative idea caught our attention and based on this; members of the group unanimously wanted to carry this thought to a higher level. Leading to CCOK being registered organization under the Travancore – Cochin Literary Scientific And Charitable Societies Registration Act 1955 Act. CCOK is thus the first recognized social media organization in India.
Our Mission & Vision
CCOK strengthens the bonding of the professional and amateur social media content creators with the idea of “growing together”. The mission of CCOK is to provide a common platform for creative content creators and YouTubers to work in unison for the development of individual skills, to earn an income, to be committed in working for the upliftment and benefit of the society in general and fellow YouTubers in particular across the world. The best methods in generating income through social media, like product and service advertising and marketing, are also encouraged. In doing so, the members of this organization exhibit and explore their talents and creativity.
The vision of CCOK is put to best use the reach and influence of social media, in particular YouTube, to generate more content creators with deep social and professional commitment. The members of CCOK are also involved in charitable work with the income generated through the organization’s official channel. CCOK believes in sharing its strength and support through organised charitable works and also in the welfare of the organization members. CCOK is mindful of its members’ needs and will lend a helping hand to uplift one of its own, including financially.
